Cyclospas – Description
Cyclospas is an effective combination of Paracetamol and Dicyclomine Hydrochloride. It is used in the treatment of abdominal pain, Cold, Fever, Periods Pain, Headache, Toothache, Ear Pain, Joint Pain and other conditions. It relieves abdominal pain that is associated with biliary colic, intestinal colic, renal colic and dysmenorrhea.
Cyclospas – Composition and Active Ingredients
Cyclospas Tablet is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)
- Paracetamol (325 MG)
- Dicyclomine Hydrochloride (20 MG)
Paracetamol
Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. It relieves pain in mild arthritis but has no effect on the underlying inflammation and swelling of the joint.
Dicyclomine Hydrochloride
Dicyclomine is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Dicyclomine is in a class of medications called anticholinergics. It relieves muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract by blocking the activity of a certain natural substance in the body.
Working of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride
Dicyclomine belongs to a class of drugs called anticholinergics. A class of drugs is a group of medications that work in a similar way. These drugs are often used to treat similar conditions.
This drug affects specific muscles in your stomach and intestines called the smooth muscles. It helps to relax these muscles to relieve the spasms that functional bowel disorders cause in this part of your digestive system
Drugs which are needed to be avoided while taking
Glaucoma drugs such as travoprost, latanoprost, acetazolamide, and timolol. Taking dicyclomine with these drugs can reduce or block the effects of these drugs. You shouldn’t take dicyclomine if you take these drugs.

Cyclospas Precautions & How to Use
- Avoid using it if allergic to paracetamol
- Do not drive or operate machinery
- Do not exercise in hot weather
- Do not take paracetamol if you consume alcoholic beverages every day
- Drink a lot of fluids
- Pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
