Composition: Calcium citrate maleate 1000 mg, Alpha calcidol 0.25 mcg, Zinc monomethionine 16.8 mg, Magnesium oxide 14.5 mg, Boron 50 mcg, Copper 70 mcg, L-Lysin hydrochloride 25 mg.
Alfavit plus is used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism), and a certain muscle disease (latent tetany). Alfavit plus prevent bones from breaking easily, especially bones in the spine. Taking alfacalcidol in Alfavit plus increases the amount of active vitamin D in the body, which in turn increases the level of calcium and phosphate in the blood and helps reduce bone breakdown.
Dosage: Take two tablets per day (morning and evening with or without food)
